A listing for Minecraft WiiU Edition has appeared in the PEGI (Pan European Game Information) database, with the release date as soon as the 12th of November (that’s today!).
The content of this game is suitable for persons aged 7 years and over only.
It contains: Non realistic looking violence towards fantasy characters – Pictures or sounds likely to be scary to young children – Non realistic looking violence towards characters which although human are not very detailed
It’s been rated for 7 years old and up, it seems Nintendo will be announcing the game on their first Nintendo Direct presentation since the passing of their CEO, Satoru Iwata.
In 2013, Notch wasn’t interested in bringing Minecraft to the console, but it seems Microsoft is really pushing Minecraft on to every console, which is great to see.
I agree a Wii U version would make sense, btw. The only reason for no current plans is we've got too much work already. I <3 Nintendo.
