Who would’ve thought that Mojang’s YouTube channel could get shut down by a copyright claim? That’s exactly what happened a few hours ago. Mojang’s official channel was shut down by YouTube, citing a “trademark claim by a third party”.
We can only assume what the trademark claim was about. YouTube’s copyright claim system is very pathetic and easily manipulated- it could have been done by anybody.

Some speculate it was simply some troll pretending to be Microsoft. Even still, it’s extremely surprising that YouTube didn’t think twice about shutting down the channel.
Just goes to show, nobody’s safe. Not even Microsoft.
